Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s announced global release date is October 23, 2026. Qualifying digital preorders received Campaign access from October 16 and DMZ access from October 20. The official PC briefing states a local-midnight full release. The broader launch announcement gives calendar dates and warns that actual availability may vary by platform and time zone. It does not supply a single console unlock schedule, so do not use the PC time as a guaranteed console time.
Early access is also a purchase entitlement. If your question is whether your order qualifies, use the Campaign Early Access eligibility guide rather than treating a date alone as proof of ownership.
Why Steam can show October 22
The provided Steam product-data snapshot lists October 22, while Activision’s global announcement names October 23. That snapshot does not contain a precise unlock time zone. Retain both source scopes; the earlier store date alone is not evidence of an extra day of playable access.
Install the correct released product through the official download routes. A completed download does not bypass the platform’s unlock or purchase checks.
