COD MW4 Park Hyun Jun
Spoiler-light official Campaign and casting descriptions. Hyphenated name variants do not establish a different character.
Private Park Hyun Jun is the South Korean lead named in Activision’s MW4 Campaign Early Access announcement. He and his squad fight the invasion across the Korean Peninsula. Variety names Young Mazino as Private Park / Park Jun; the publisher separately lists Park as a playable-operator reward.
Name and performer
Activision’s October 16 announcement uses “Private Park Hyun Jun.” Variety’s casting list uses “Private Park / Park Jun” for Young Mazino. Those are the source wordings; this page does not invent a second Park from the shorter credited label.
The announced role is a young South Korean soldier facing combat for the first time. His full biography, age and family details are not needed to identify the protagonist and are not inferred from his face or actor.

Where Park fits in the Campaign
Park’s strand begins with his squad fighting back during the invasion. It is the ground-level Korean perspective, alongside the separate strand following Price’s illicit pursuit.
The story setup explains that distinction. Knowing the two strands helps identify whether a scene or guide concerns Park’s squad or Price’s route without exposing the final outcome.
Park as an Operator is a separate context
The official early-access announcement includes Park in its Campaign reward sequence. The launch operator article also lists Park, but its mission-specific unlock label differs from that sequence. This page does not resolve that conflict by guessing which mission grants the item.
A usable Park operator or skin is a gameplay entitlement, not proof that a particular story event happened. For broader performer mappings, use the cast list.
The campaign reward guide compares Park’s visible Greater Good unlock requirement with the conflicting launch announcement.
