ABOUT THIS WIKI

About this independent wiki

How COD MW4 Wiki uses original sources, handles version differences and distinguishes research from hands-on testing.

An independent reference

COD MW4 Wiki is an independent reference for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. It is not operated, endorsed or supported by Activision or Infinity Ward. Game names, characters and artwork belong to their respective owners.

The field guide covers Stranded code puzzles, selected Campaign routes, DMZ systems, Multiplayer and weapon references, and launch and PC essentials. Purchase, account and technical-support services remain with the official providers.

Original sources, clear limits

We organise information from official product pages, announcements, original guides, reviews and recordings, keeping the mode, platform, region and source context together. Article source lists distinguish publisher statements from attributed opinions and recorded observations.

This is source-based editing. We do not claim to have completed the campaign, tested a loadout or reproduced a mission solution. Promotional imagery helps identify the game and its setting; it does not establish a route, code, reward or performance result.

Launch details were checked against the official product, launch, DMZ and PC pages on October 23, 2026. A source-check date records research, rather than a publication date or proof that the game was tested on that day.

Start with the original announcement

Game artwork comes from the supplied Steam promotional materials. Selected creator video covers identify the relevant recording or topic; captions distinguish them from inspected gameplay evidence. The small site icon is an original anonymous military illustration, not an official game logo or a claimed character portrait.
