COD MW4 Campaign Early Access
Historical early-access window; full release announced for October 23. Actual access remains platform and account specific.
Campaign Early Access began October 16, 2026 for Standard Digital and Vault Edition preorders or prepurchases. It covered the entire Campaign until the October 23 full launch. Physical Standard orders were not included in that digital benefit, and Campaign access did not open Multiplayer early.
Check the edition and purchase account
The qualifying products were Standard Digital and Vault Edition on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, Battle.net, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. Vault was not required: Standard Digital qualified too.
The edition comparison separates digital benefits from Physical Standard. A physical preorder’s Beta code was a different entitlement; it was not a substitute for Campaign Early Access.

What the window included
The October 16 announcement made all sixteen Campaign missions available to eligible owners. DMZ’s separate early-access date was October 20; the full game’s release date was October 23.
Campaign completion rewards were earned during that play window and announced for use in Multiplayer and DMZ at full launch. That did not mean those other modes were already unlocked on October 16.
Use the mission completion reward table to match each item and inspect the actual unlock condition.
When an eligible purchase still shows a locked mode
Check that the installed product, signed-in store account and qualifying digital order match. Use the publisher’s installation instructions for the right launcher. A downloaded Beta or files on disk do not establish ownership of the released Campaign.
Compare the affected mode with its own access date in the release schedule. If a qualifying order and the applicable window both match but access is still missing, use Activision Support or the purchase platform’s support with the order details. No universal unlock workaround is established by these announcements.
