COD MW4 DMZ 3D Printer Crafting

Official launch-era FOB guide, full crafting section reread October 23. Recipe costs below belong to that stated source and unlock set.

MW4 DMZ’s 3D Printer unlocks at DMZ Player Level 2. Crafting requires an unlocked Recipe and the listed Resources and, where needed, intact Printer Ingredients. Highlight the recipe to see owned totals, choose the output quantity and send the result to Stash or Operator. The official first Bandage recipe costs 15 Synthetics and 15 Chemicals; those numbers are not an armor-vest recipe.

Recipe, Resources and Ingredients

Recipes unlock through DMZ leveling, Orders or looting and successfully extracting with a recipe. Extracted Recipes are consumed into the printer’s unlocked list, with the cash payout described by the publisher; they are not ordinary permanent Backpack items.

Resources automatically break down into Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals and Metals. Intact Printer Ingredients, such as Binding Catalyst or Biomaterials, remain items to extract and store. A resource total and an ingredient stack are different parts of a recipe.

Print and verify an item

  1. Reach DMZ level 2 and open the printer

Access the FOB 3D Printer after its level-2 unlock. Choose an available Recipe rather than assuming every visible locked recipe is usable.

  2. Read the recipe’s exact costs

Highlight the item. The menu shows how much you own; totals turn green when sufficient. For a Bandage, the documented first recipe needs 15 Synthetics and 15 Chemicals.

  3. Track any missing Ingredient

Use Track to pin a Recipe or Ingredient and check its general loot-location suggestion when one is supplied. Extract intact Ingredients, then manage them in the Stash for crafting.

  4. Choose quantity and destination

When sufficient materials are present, choose how many to make and print to the Operator or Stash. Check that selected destination for the completed item before deploying.

Upgrade the service deliberately

The Upgrades category includes permanent FOB improvements, such as Stash capacity and recovery discounts. The guide says upgrades can require multiple prints. Crafting one stage is not proof that the whole upgrade is finished.

The printer’s Recipe screen is the place to verify the actual resource spend and output for a later or changed recipe. Do not use the packet’s approximate 15+15 “armor” example: the full official text assigns that cost to Bandage. Stash and carried gear have different risk after deployment.
