COD MW4 DMZ FOB & Stash

Official October 9 launch-era FOB guide, reread October 23. DMZ Player Level and individual Operator progression are different.

The Forward Operating Base is MW4 DMZ’s preparation hub between deployments. Use Operators for your active roster, Orders for objectives and Stash/Loadout for stored versus carried gear. Additional services unlock through DMZ progression: the 3D Printer at level 2, Vendor at 5, Gunsmith at 10 and Dog Tag Case at 20.

Stash, Backpack and Loadout are different

The Stash stays in the FOB and is shared by your Active Duty Operators. Its starting capacity is 40 general items and 12 weapons, counted separately. The Loadout and Backpack are what your selected Operator takes into the zone.

After a successful exfil, move useful ingredients and spare gear into the Stash. Printer Resources are automatically broken into Synthetics, Electronics, Chemicals and Metals and do not use ordinary Stash slots; intact Printer Ingredients do.

A Basic Pack has eight slots. Upgraded Backpacks can add capacity and Secure Slots. Read the loss boundary before treating every carried item as permanently protected.

Recovering an MIA Operator

An eliminated Operator is MIA and cannot redeploy until recovered. At Operators, spend DMZ Cash from your Bank to recover them and preserve their Traits. They return without their lost gear, so prepare a new Loadout.

Recovery cost rises with Trait progression. Dismissing an MIA Operator starts again with a replacement instead; it is not equivalent to the paid recovery. Compare the Operator progression rules before choosing.

A useful between-run order

Offload the loot you want to keep, inspect completed Orders and unlocks, then decide what to craft or buy before readying the next Loadout. Use the 3D Printer guide for a supported first recipe and the Gunsmith guide for repeatable weapon purchases.

This order is an editorial way to avoid carrying stored supplies back out accidentally. The Stash and the tracked objective remain readable without any checklist or account connection on this site.
